OpenDNS là gì?

Thế nào là DNS ?

Tên đầy đủ của DNS là Domain Name System, được dịch là Hệ thống phân giải tên miền. DNS được phát minh vào năm 1984. Công việc chính của DNS là chuyển các hostname thành domain. Ví dụ: http://74.125.153.132/ đây là IP của trang google.com. Thay vì bạn phải nhớ một mớ số như vậy thì DNS sẽ nhớ dùm bạn. Công việc của bạn là chỉ cần gõ google.com, còn công việc của DNS là trỏ tên miền google.com đến IP của nó là http://74.125.153.132/.

Mẹo vặt: Làm sao tôi biết google.com có địa chỉ IP là http://74.125.153.132/. Rất đơn giản, bạn hãy bật CMD lên ( Phím windows + R, gõ cmd), sau đó dùng lệnh ping đến google.com: ping google.com

OpenDNS là gì ?

OpenDNS là một dịch vụ DNS miễn phí. Sử dụng OpenDNS có vài điểm lợi. Trước tiên, bạn có thể thiết lập để chặn truy cập một tên miền nào đó, ví dụ cấm truy cập vào website trò chơi trực tuyến từ máy tính của công ty. Thứ hai, OpenDNS sẽ khóa những tên miền “xấu” của tin tặc. Thứ ba, khi người dùng không nhớ chính xác tên miền họ cần truy cập là gì, OpenDNS sẽ liệt kê những tên miền gợi nhớ. Và cuối cùng, một dịch vụ bổ sung giúp phân giải tên miền nhanh hơn các máy chủ hiện có.

Cấu hình OpenDNS để lướt web nhanh hơn

Mở cửa sổ Internet connections bằng cách chọn phím windows + R, gõ ncpa.cpl và enter.
Click chuột phải lên Local Area Network Connection option và chọn Properties.


Chọn Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) và click vào Properties button.


Trong cửa sổ Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties , Chọn Use the following DNS Server Addresses option và điền IP phía dưới vào:
* 208.67.222.222
* 208.67.220.220


Sau đó click Ok để hoàn tất.

What is DNS?

DNS stands for Domain Name System, whenever you type a web address for example www.addictivetips.com in your web browser’s address bar, your computer resolves the domain name to the IP address with the help of the Domain Name Service. How to configure OpenDNS for faster browsing?

Open the Internet connections window, click Start, type ncpa.cpl and hit Enter. Once loaded, right click the Local Area Network Connection option and choose Properties.

Now choose Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and hit the Properties button.

In the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window, select the Use the following DNS Server Addresses option and enter the following mentioned IP’s there. Please note that these IP’s are the DNS Servers of OpenDNS which anyone around the world can use.

• 208.67.222.222
• 208.67.220.220

That’s it, click OK and enjoy the faster and safer browsing with OpenDNS.
